The Boardwalk

The Shem Creek boardwalk runs from Coleman Boulevard to near the mouth of Shem Creek and totals 2,200 feet. The 10-foot-wide boardwalk allows visitors to see the sights in and around creek as well as Fort Sumter and the Charleston skyline. Grab a Charleston brewed craft beer or hand dipped ice cream from Up The Creek and and enjoy strolling the creek before hitting the restaurants and bars. And best of all, Shem Creek Boardwalk is the perfect place to take in a romantic Charleston sunset.
